Cuando pensamos en el procesamiento del metal y en las forjas, a menudo nos vienen a la mente grandes y espectaculares llamas, metal fundido fluyendo y pinzas de un rojo resplandeciente que soportan martillos voladores. Pero la tecnolog\u00eda ha avanzado mucho desde el mito de Hefesto forjando armas para los dioses del Olimpo.
